Celebrating the innovations of the hungarian mobility

This year, our „Innovation day” was held for the 4th time, the goal of which was to present the results of the research, development, and innovation projects in ZalaZONE.

The event attracted record numbers of guests, lecturers, and exhibitors to the Event Center, where the indoor demonstrations were held, and from where buses were constantly departing to track visits and outdoor demonstrations during the day.

The Hungarian Drone coalition also raised the standard of the event, as they chose this day to organize their „Profession day” for the 2nd time. Numerous exhibitors presented their aerial autonomous vehicle developments and innovations within this framework.

One of our most popular demonstrations was the remote car driving, which performed well earlier at the   ITS World Congress in Los Angeles – in the shared development of ZalaZONE, the Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. and the Budapest University of Technology. The project created an opportunity to drive a car on our proving ground remotely, from across the ocean. Our guests showed extraordinary interest in trying the invention. 

The Innovation Day attracted not only professionals from the automotive industry but the „colleagues of the future” too, as many school groups were able to get insights into the world of innovations on our proving ground.
