AVL ZalaZONE Topping Out Ceremony

On the 3rd of December 2021, a special event took place at Zalaegerszeg. A topping-out ceremony of the new AVL building. 

AVL is the world’s largest independent company for the development, simulation, and testing technology of vehicles. For more than ten years AVL has been supporting a variety of vehicle manufacturers in the series development of safe and reliable driver assistance functions. AVL in Hungary has partnered with the modern and unique vehicle testing and development facility, ZalaZONE. This partnership, AVL ZalaZONE Proving Ground, has been in operation since November 1st, 2019, and gave a home to the groundbreaking innovations of the companies working continuously for the future of mobility.

The new AVL building next to AVL ZalaZONE will be providing 150 workplace which brings us closer to evolve and take a step forward in the direction of amazing future developments. As a symbol of the progression a bouquet was placed at the top of the building wich was decorated by Balaicz Zoltán the Mayor of Zalaegerszeg, Dirk Janetzko the Managing Director of AVL Hungary Ltd., Robert Fischer the Chief Technoligy Officer of AVL List GmbH, Palkovics László the Minister of Innovation and Technology and Vígh László the Regional Member of Parliament. As the end of the ceremony, the participants visited the test moduls and a group photo was taken by a drone at the dynamic platform. We hope that in the following years there will be numerous milestones that we can achieve and occasions where we can celebrate them as well.
